This year at Chronic Illness Advisor we are starting a year-long adventure called RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE, which will help you take back the things you have lost to chronic illness.
If you are like me, you have experienced a number of losses since chronic illness entered into your life. Certainly you have lost your physical health, but you may have also lost other important things like meaningful relationships, financial stability, and job security. Along with those things, you may have also lost your joy, hope, and sense of control over your life. The life you now live may include pain, overwhelm, loneliness, anxiety, and depression.
I understand. I’ve been there. I have a chronic illness, too, and it has affected every single area of my life. It has been 14 years now since I was diagnosed. In the midst of all of the pain and upheaval that chronic illness has caused, I have learned many things that I want to share with you. I have learned how to adjust my life to cope with pain, how to prevent and manage flare-ups, how to restore relationships, how to find hope, and how to reclaim my joy. My experience as an RN has also taught me many practical things that I want to share with you to help you manage your chronic illness.
My passion to help others has spurred me on to create the RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE program, where I will share things I have learned as a patient, as a nurse, as a wife and mom, and also as a chronic care coach.
The RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE program is FREE and, even though your chronic illness hasn’t gone away, you will learn how to:
•overcome overwhelm and get unstuck
•learn how to get organized and become more productive
•make action plans to reach your goals
•find HOPE again and reclaim your JOY
Together we will take back the parts of our lives that we’ve lost to chronic illness as we create one personal goal each month this year in the areas of:
•finding strength to carry-on
We’ll check in with each other as we make progress towards reaching goals that you may have thought impossible. The strategy we’ll use has been specifically created by me for those struggling with chronic illness, for those who don’t have a lot of energy and need to find another way to reach their goals.
Participating in this program is FREE when you subscribe to receive RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE emails at www.ChronicIllnessAdvisor.com (look for the subscription link in the right sidebar).
There are also several paid options you can take advantage of to help you succeed, including:
•the Reclaiming Your Life journal
•monthly 60-minute coaching calls for the entire year (this is only $14 per month and includes participation in the Facebook group, as well as 1 coaching call each month for the entire year)
•one-on-one chronic care coaching with a Chronic Illness Advisor RN if you want specific help in the areas of disease management, education, and guidance to help you manage your chronic illness (several packages available with varying costs and number of calls)
